Some Photos from Today

As part of its week-long 30th Anniversay celebration, Tuwohofo-Holly International School held a Spelling Competition for its Junior Seconday School "houses" this afternoon with the elementary students watching.  Each "house" (grade: 6, 7, 8) had a 3-member team. The team was given a word to spell, conferred together, then one member stood and spelled the word.  If correctly spelled, points were awarded and marked on a large white board.

The three girls representing Clerico House (6th grade) won the Spelling Competition!  Good spelling has always been important to all Clerico's. :)

Tomorrow afternoon there will be a soccer match between the current students and the teachers.

On Friday there will be Field Day activities and then on Saturday morning, 10am, the 30th Anniversary Durbar will take place in the open area in front of the Catholic church next door to the school grounds.

On Sunday morning there will be a special worship service in the Catholic church and then on Sunday afternoon will be the culminating soccer match between faculty and honored guests versus T.H.I.S. Old Boys and Girls (graduates).  Good thing I brought shoes. :)

We purchased a new HP Printer for the computer lab and the Computer Technology teacher set it up and was installing the software on the donated CSU laptops yesterday afternoon.
